様々なバーン、地形を従来の2Dボードよりもスムースでより自由にライディングの幅を広げるコンセプトのもとに生み出された技術。 開発スタッフの長年による経験、工場による徹底的な材料管理、開発努力によって製品化。3D構造はより複雑な作りゆえ、芯材となるコアは雪山という低温地域での変形・剥離が発生しやすいという問題を抱えていた。変形は湿度調整のもとベストな状態で管理された材料を、通常のボードよりも多くの時間をかけじっくりと完璧なプレスを行うことで解消。現在ではプレス機も第5世代までアップデート、より安定したプレスを実現。T.Jが毎シーズン3Dシリーズにこだわりを持って採用し続けてきたWood topは通常のトップシート材に比べ、年輪から割れやすいという弱点があったが、ABS + Resin cureにより強化、完成度も格段に上がった。1本1本にじっくり時間と愛情をかけて生み出されるボードは量産には向かず、貴重で特別な1本となっている。
This technology was created based on the concept of expanding the range of riding smoothly and freely on various burns and terrains compared to conventional 2D boards. Commercialized by the experience of many years of development staff, thorough material management by the factory, and development efforts. Since the 3D structure is very complicated, the core material has a issue that it is easily deformed and peeled off in a low temperature area such as a snow mountain. Deformation is eliminated by carefully selecting materials that are controlled in the best condition under humidity control, and taking more time than a normal board to perform a perfect press. Currently, the press machine has been updated to the 5th generation, to achieve a more stable press. Wood top, which has been sticking to the 3D series every season, has a weakness that it is easier to crack from annual rings than ordinary top sheet materials. So we worked hard and it was strengthened by ABS + Resin cure, and the degree of perfection was significantly improved. The boards that are created by spending time and love on each one are not suitable for mass production, and are valuable and special ones.
シーズンを通してコア材の研究開発を行い、各モデルごとの特性を発揮させるためにコンセプトに合ったWoodcoreを開発するシリーズ。ゲレンデクルージングでの高速カービングからビッグマウンテンエクストリームまで、RIDER達のフィードバックを基に開発されたTerrain Seriesは攻める日のMustな1本として持っておきたい。トップシートはマットクリアコーティング仕上げ。
We conduct research and development of core materials throughout the season. And this series that develops Woodcore that fits the concept in order to bring out the characteristics of each model. From high-speed carving on the lines to big mountain extremes, the Terrain Series was developed based on the feedback of riders all the time. You must have this for the day of attack. The top sheet has a matte clear coating finish.
2022-2023モデルより2モデルがラインナップに新たに加わるカタマランシリーズ。NAVIGATORをベースに開発されたCatamaran NVとSmooth grooveをベースにしたCatamaran SG、そして軽量コアにアップデートされたNapoleon Fish Skiに加え、新たにCatamaran-AC 156とCatamaran-V160がラインナップされました。ガイドクルーのリクエストから始まった今回のこの2モデルは単に既存のモデルを割るのではなく、Splitboardとして求められる要素を限りなく詰め込んだSplitboard専用のShapeとなっている。Catamaran SeriesSG, NV, AC, VのSplitboardにはWoodcoreにVertical carbonを組み込むことでSplitboardに必要な剛性を確保。SPARK R&D社製のFIXIE CLIPを標準装備。チップクリップにはSPARK Tip & Tail Clipsを採用しています。
From the 2022-2023 model, two new models will be added to the catamaran series. Catamaran NV developed based on NAVIGATOR and Catamaran SG based on Smooth groove. Napoleon Fish Ski updated with a lightweight core. And the new Catamaran-AC 156 and Catamaran-V160 have been added to the line-up. These two models, which started at the request of the guide crew, are not simply splitting existing models, but are Shapes dedicated to Splitboards packed with the elements required for Splitboards. The Catamaran Series SG, NV, AC, V splitboards incorporate vertical carbon into the woodcore to ensure the necessary rigidity for the splitboard.

History of T.J Brandというに相応しいモデル。当時まだT.JがTwelve snowboardsの1シリーズとしてリリースされていた頃、2003年にT.Jシリーズとして初のオリジナルモールドによるシェイプ、Option Factory (カナダ) madeの "T.J 162 P.T" がリリース。その後このモデルは2005年にAct Gear Factory (日本)へと生産拠点を移し、若干のシェイプ修正を経てモデル名を "THE DAY" へと改名しリリース。そして2009年T.JシリーズがTwelveからT.J Brandとして派生したタイミングにリリースされたモデルが最後となり一つの役割を終えた。その後様々なオリジナルシェイプやコンセプトをシーンにリリースし続けてきたT.J Brand。当時からサイクルは周り新たなT.J Ambassadorも増え、ビッグマウンテンライダーの台頭もあり今一度このモデルへの復刻を望む声も囁かれ始めた。そして遂に2021モデルで "ORIGIN" として11年ぶりに復刻を遂げた。
I can say that this model is suitable for the History of T.J Brand. In 2003, when T.J was still released as a series of Twelve snowboards, the first original mold shape of the T.J series, Option Factory (Canada) made "T.J 162 Pin Trail" was released. After that, the production base of this model was moved to Act Gear Factory (Japan) in 2005, and the model name was changed to "THE DAY" after some shape corrections. And in 2009, the T.J series was derived from Twelve as the T.J Brand. At the same time, this model has finished a role. Since then, T.J Brand has continued to release various original shapes with concept boards. Since that time, the cycle has been around, new T.J Ambassadors have increased, and with the rise of big mountain riders, voices have begun to whisper once again asking for a reproduction of this model. In the end, it was reprinted as the 2021 model "ORIGIN" for the first time in 11 years.

Based around a concept that hadn't existed until now, Maverick figures is a brand created T.J Brand director Koji Mikami. We spent a lot of time with riders to create a line-up that's both original and collaboration with T.J Brand, focusing on making it faster, smoother, and tougher for rigding right across the mountain. It's no exaggeration to say we managed to bring together everything we wanted in an all-mountain snowboard, as part of a unique brand that lets riders choose their core and flex, giving everyone to chance to have their own board - just like the pros.

純日本生産のカスタムオーダーグローバルプロジェクトTHE PLANT。THE PLANT X THE SHAPERSではウッドコアやマテリアルのほとんどを日本で調達し、日本産のオリジナルコア、ポイントエッジ、突き板 + クラックトップシートなど独自のコンセプトも採用。フレックス、エッジの仕様もセミカスタム対応が可能。また、今回のTHE SHAPERSのラインナップ全てのアウトラインやボトム形状はSHAPERたちがBLANKSをハンドシェイプしたマスターボードをベースにCADデータへと落とし込み、微調整を重ねながら完成形へともっていくスノーボード作りの新たなプロセスをも構築している。

THE PLANT is a purely Japan-produced custom order global projext. The majority of the woodcore and materials THE PLANT X THE SHAPERS use are produced in Japan. Propriety concepts such as origianl Japanesecores, point edges, and veneers + cracked top sheets are used, and flex and edge specifications are also semi-customisable. In a new process that pushes the design and manufacture of snowboards foward, the outline and base shape of all the boards in the THE SHAPERS line-up are basedon master boards handshaped by the SHAPERS on BLANKS. These are theconverted to CAD data and fine-tuned to produce the final form.
